About this game
Round 3 of 8. The screen flickers to a newsroom and your host, Walter Cronbite, straightens his tie to announce tonight’s developing story: “Foreign Leader Calls Me Sir.” Sixty seconds. Everyone hunches over their phones. Somewhere in the room the AI candidate — “Mango Mussolini” — is already typing, and it never blinks. You thumb in your best line and hit send. Then the podium. Cronbite reads every entry aloud, dead serious, letting each boast hang in the air: “They called me, crying, and said, ‘Sir, no one has ever been more respected on a phone call.’” The room loses it. Cronbite does not crack. He awards Most Presidential (+3), two Crowd Favourites (+1), and — with a grave nod — the Biggest Whopper. The scoreboard reshuffles, a human has just overtaken the AI, and the next story is already breaking. Eight rounds, one Medal of Bluster, zero chill.

Crumb
A pompous Oxbridge academic with absolute confidence and no spine whatsoever. Crumb holds absurd opinions like holy writ — until a witty argument makes him fold, theatrically, on live TV.
